So we found out Monday the genitals of who we like to call little iBun (we are both Mac users). As the obgyn was positioning the wand to get a good look between the legs of my future offspring, I couldn't help but think this was the baby's first porn shot :D Anyway, I thought I'd be very clever and post on facebook this picture of me with these

I remember skiing with my girlfriend at the time; we both tripped over a cable hidden under the snow, then a third guy comes down and emulates us. He gets us, shouts "that's so fuckin gay" and splits. We were both completely weirded out; we didn't even manage to stammer anything. People actually still *say* that? And that was *ten years ago*.

You look sooo happy sitting on that rock there :) Congrats on having energy; aforementioned ex recently had a kid, and her pregnancy was tougher: she was out of sports for months, could barely handle a short hike at 3 months -- despite normally being outdoors every weekend and exercising many evenings.

It's hard to believe, but yes, I know I've heard it on sitcoms recently RE: energy. Everyone's pregnancy is different :-) I assure you I'm not out jogging or anything massively intense. I do get tired, especially after climbing only one flight of stairs! But I feel like I could walk for ages most of the time. And when I don't feel great, I find that walking really helps me feel a bit better, which was true before pregnancy but seems to be even more important now. I also have a simple little 20-minute workout for pregnant ladies I try to do every day to boost my energy. So I wouldn't say I'm being terribly sporty, but I'm very keen on staying active for as long as my body will let me. It's letting me at the moment so I'm going with it

funny, because i showed your photo to krista and we were both like "we can't tell if she's having a boy or a girl." i thought maybe blue because your shirt is tealish, which is close to blue? i was surprised that everyone else jumped to BOY conclusions.

Yeah, me too, I thought I'd get a 50/50 split!

I thought about putting up the ultrasound with the clear shot of the baby's penis but then I thought that might come back to haunt him in later years and he'd never forgive me :D

Thanks! It's seems like only yesterday we were out hiking with Mr. Stephanic (sp?) in the hiking club. When were you out hiking last, old friend?
