I love how we've come to accept that in Dean Winchester's life after-play that involves getting knocked unconscious and kidnapped is uncomplicated fun.
I enjoyed this so much for the reasons you say here. Highlights were Jody's comments about Sam & Dean being something special :), Dean's description of sex (omigosh, swoon) and him getting some fun in (swoon again), and I was actually SCARED! during the scenes where the victims were being held underground. I was tense and jumpy and EVERYTHING. Like you said S9 has done this too me a few times now and that hasn't happened in a while. When I recognized my jumpiness I caught myself smiling in scared pleasure. :)
Not to mention that I found myself very concerned about Sam and his wellbeing. Throughout the episode, but that end scene where Sam just sat for a moment on the bed, dejected. Oh my heartstrings.
Yes, to all these things! So utterly spiffy to see Jody again, she's awesome, and man - i swear i got some Sam/Jody vibes when they were researching in the motel room (homg, how awesome would *that* be?).
And Dean going all twitchy and fan-boy over Suzy, and then getting his 'suave' on.... Loved it!
And of course, Dean got them out of the oubliette thingy, smrt!
Jody being kick-ass was amazing - holy crap, can she take a shaft of sharpened oak to the chest like a pro, or what?
I like to think that homeless guy at the beginning felt really good when the 'FBI' and Jody listened to him, didn't mock him, and treated him like he'd seen something important, rather than like a drunken loser.
Excellent, excellent episode, yet again!
Ezekiel, however, is freaking me the fuck out, and what Vesta said about Sam - fuck, is Ezekiel not healing him *at all*? *flails*
So we're dealing with one brother so hot in bed that a hooker forgets to take her money, and the other who's hot enough to make a purity counselor break her pledge. Yowsa! Lady boner indeed. Pretty much every episode.
Yeah I know that pic of Jared's a manip and I don't care. :)

Didn't Sam sign his name on the annulment papers to end his horrible marriage that should never have been with Becky? Pretty sure.
Oh well, don't care. Loved this ep!
