*hugs* thank you. I wasn't sure it worked, but figured hey LJ is just a big writing lab to experiment in.

How interesting. I love that you take a stark, honest look at the demon's observations of its hosts - no pulling of the punches when it comes to something squeamish. And as a grammar teacher the whole ze/zir thing fascinates me, of course :p But most of all I like the twist of an ending. Demon!Jo :D It'd make sense.

Thank you. I couldve written the story using it/itself but actually felt the gender neutral pronouns fucntioned better to indicate the otherness of the demon. I like the way they are in your face as you read, jarring you out of the text. And of course, the metaphor being that is how we react to the "other" whetehr a person on non-male or female gedner, or a demon! They jar us from our comfort zone.
/ends rambling.

Thanks again for commenting.

That was freaking awesome!! I loved reading the demon's thoughts and feelings as it was inside Sam.

Only the hair had been a disappointment, but ze could get that cut soon.

After the discussion of zir expirimentation with fisting and fucking and whatever other depraved acts of sensation ze could try, that line just made me snort.

I think ze might have had more fun in Dean's body... but I'm not sure.

listen, i read this last night and the internet was going batty, so this is the first thing i'm doing in the morning. there's nothing about this fic that doesn't blow me away - it's just inventive and visceral and funny and i wish canon had as cool a take on the demon's nature as you do here.

gender-neutrals for the win. and, yes, shitting can be a very pleasurable act, dammit. and John and the poker. ouch!

in conclusion: love.
