very great. Weiss (with T..something Hickman) was very popular with the Dungeons and Dragons stuff they did, and they had several of their own (non D&D) series of books that did well too. So for that crowd, I think her name will pull in a lot of people. Which is awesome!
I am afraid new merchandise doesn't tell much :/ They threw a bunch of new Stargate stuff at us just before canceling it on our ass, just a few days after the much celebrated 200th episode. Still, hope floats :)
In totally unrelated news there is now a sex doll for dogs. They have costumes for people's legs now?!? :0
Actually, I don't know about Ozzies, but people in the U.S. get ridiculous about their pets-- moreso dogs than cats. *boggles*
Saaaaay... I caught a glimpse of a previous-season "24" on rerun (can't remember which one-- I think it's #1 or #3), and I believe that the Ellen actress from SPN is on their-- fluffed up reddish hair, big padded-shoulder suit, looking pretty good actually-- as the *koff* seasonal "I'm stepping in and taking command of CTU on an emergency basis for the duration of this crisis" person.
Remember her? (that particular one-- about half of them have been female). :D
Ohh must check - I have S2,3,4 on DVD. I levo how every year at CTU - the boss gets sacked/goes mad/Jack kills them and soemone else comes in and at least one staff member is a terrorist! Oh and anyone you goes to CTU medical dies - usually not of natural causes.
Oh I had a passing bunny about an AU where Sam and Dean work at CTU!! Imagine Sam and Chloe snarking together. And Dean ogling Jack's weapons.

Haha-- I can see Dean and Jack discussion weapons and showing them off, and then asfk$&*^1!! into the backroom for some personal weapons-play. Oddly enough, for Sam and Chloe I can see him charming her in his quiet way into talking to him almost like a regular person, and then her deciding that he's kind of cute and maybe trying to hit on him in a totally awkward (and possibly far-too-direct) way while he wonders if she might actually be some kind of borderline psycho. ;)
The whole thing is so wrong. I am so glad my dog has no libido. I get sad at the money people spend on pets, mainly because all most dogs want above all is a run in the park and a bone.

You do realize if you've jinxed it, I'm going to have to kill you, right? And I mean that in the nicest way possible.
(And the dog sex toy amuses me a great deal - thanks for the link!)

Where's the sex doll for the FEMALE dogs? Huh? Male animals aren't the only ones with urges, damnit.
Sexism! It's not just for humans anymore!
Clearly I'm up too late...
