Yep, we have everything we need, but we live just 500 meters from the shop, so we manage those meters anyhow. :)

You have my admiration Yasmina - the UK would totally stop if we had anywhere near as much snow as that. My partner has spent time in Switzerland - and it annoys him how bad the UK is at coping.

Southern norway isn't good at coping with such weather either; all bus-traffic is canceled, the big malls are closed until the snow from the roof is removed, same with all big sportsenters
Getting a cab is impossible, old and needy people have to get help from neighbors and friends, due to those who usually helps them can't get out with their cars.
Shops can't keep open cause the workers can't get to work, and now lots of people have lost electricity.

I grew up in northern norway, where this would just be an ordinary winter, but southern norway isn't used to getting this much snow in such a short time, so they just don't have the equipment to deal with it. Same thing happend last year, most of us thought those who handle such things had learned from that, but guess not. Maybe next year..
