YES YOU DID. AND YES IT IS YOUR FAULT, BUT IN A GOOD WAY THIS TIME. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WERE ACTUALLY CRAVING DREW/DREW FIC WHILE AT SCHOOL. THAT'S JUST ODD.

I also want to know how they met! And when they even got married! He's only 25. They must have met in college or something... *is tempted to write college Stephen/Laura fic*

This is great. I meant to comment earlier, but yeah, I love that it's not slash because so much of baseball fic is, and hard as it is to believe, there are some guys in MLB who are straight and committed to their wives. I definitely see little holy Stephen Drew as one of them. I also love how it's the wife being the pursuer and Stephen's like WUTTT? Ahahahah. That dynamic is not written about, ever. NICE JOBBBB. :D.

What? There are straight guys in baseball? NO WAY. Alert the fucking media. But seriously, as amusing as writing a slash fic for this would have been, this is just more realistic (if only slightly). Also, my friend Ley (see above) and I have been joking for a while now about how Laura must be the dominant one in the relationship, since Stephen is so reserved and all. Laura is probably nothing like how I wrote in real life, but whatever. That is the power of writing fiction. :D

Besides the "I think I pulled a muscle or something" line, that disclaimer was my favorite part of writing this fic. So thank you! XD
