Mine too :( It was difficult to write, but I tried to make this Arthur at least a little sympathetic. He just doesn't understand what he's doing or human emotions in general =/

Wow, this is so dark and amazing. He's just such an interesting character, and I think it's a testament to both Nolan's writing and JGL's acting that the fandom interprets his character in so many different ways.

Loved this, really.

I think JGL's acting ability is awesome, and definitely a contributer to that. Nolan's writing is responsible too. Some say the character is under-developed, but that's what I think makes it perfect for fictional exploration and all our different interpretations!

Very good fic exploring the dark potential between the two of them. It's true; we don't really know everything, and all we see are snippets of a life that we can interpret in different ways. This is just as plausible as every other iteration in fic.

This was so extremely heartbreaking! The scary thing is that I can actually see Arthur being someone like that. I guess we don't know much of him from the movie to really judge. Poor Ariadne - my heart was with her the entire story. It's so sad to see how even after all of that, she can't leave him.
Very nice work! I was really depressed by this (another way of saying I really, really enjoyed it). I look forward to reading more of your angst! :D

The thing is, in some warped way I could see Arthur being like that too. Or at least, I can envision JGL acting his pants off if this fic was his role.

It's so sad to see how even after all of that, she can't leave him.

I'm glad you picked up on that because I was definitely trying to convey that despite how painful it is, Ari just can't let him go.

Angst is probably my fave writing device, so I don't doubt there will be more eventually. Thanks again for reading and commenting!
