Back from a very fun weekend with dragon_fall and The Tall One. The theatre The Tall One choose was so cool! It's modeled after an old, 1920's-era Egyptian-themed movie theatre. Complete with curtains in front of the screen. And the manager apparently really likes his job, because for every opening, he dresses up like someone from the movie. In this case

For my birthday (at the end of the month), my brother was gonna take me to a "double feature" of Wolverine and Star Trek. But I don't think I can wait any longer... I'm on my way out to clinic to get my blood drawn for an INR (hooray coumadin?). Then I'm gonna go see it... Hope my brother forgives me. :-X Maybe Terminator can be the other part of our double feature?

So yeah... sorry. My original opinion of this movie rates it lower than X3. X2 is simply the best "comic book movie" I've seen... as a comics non-fan, that is.

Does Patrick Stewart admittedly use Botox? 'Cause I haven't seen the credits or anything... but I just figured it wasn't really Stewart (maybe he wasn't available), but a really half-assed attempt at CGI... not unlike the claws you lament.

We saw a preview for the movie last night on Cartoon Network (also checked out IMDB) and it listed some of the mutant names.
Will i Am ... John Wraith / (Kestrel) Can't remember what it said and hubby's sleeping so I can't ask him
Lynn Collins ... Kayla Silverfox
Dominic Monaghan ... Chris Bradley / Bolt
Tahyna Tozzi ... Kayla's Sister / Emma Frost (according to a friend of mine apparently in some alt comic universe they gave her the diamond skin the movie featured).

According to Wikipedia Storm was cut out of the movie.

Yep Emma can do the diamond thing (its more of a hidden talent they through in a different series....i'm so thrilled that just made that as her power..*sarcasm!!!!!!*)

and yes I cried a sea of one thousand tears for Remy. But i must admit they didn't seriously screw him up as much as Rogue *CRIESSSSS*
I think his small shred of an attempt at the accent was more then Anna Paquin did*grumbles*
(honestly why do people hire her for ANYTHING she's a horrible actress and she makes my eyes hurt)
