That is a great blessing indeed, to have so many willing and generous brethren. And prescriptions on the weekend...!
We have one doctor in our congregation, one long-retired nurse, and a retired physical therapist as well. I am only a nursing student, but many are already coming to me with medical questions which I can only answer with a vague stare and an overwhelmed laugh. One boy even honored me with, "I got poison ivy! Since you're going to be a nurse, you wanna see?" He was so proud to show it off, too. :-)
