Before I moved out of my parents house, they used to come around and we'd just politely tell them to GTFO. Then within the past recent years, I heard that Mom had been letting them in and had actually been having lengthy "reading sessions" with them. I was like WTF?
My Mom became a Mormon at the end of her life. I am still trying to figure what they said to her. I think they were just nice to her and gave her a community and she needed that at the time.
I know that at least if you get in the Jehovah's Witnesses face and treat them like crap, they view themselves as martyrs and it justifies them and their beliefs.
No way I'm giving them that satisfaction. I'd rather make them question their beliefs in a positive way than have them turn away in anger and believe nothing I say. It really doesn't help them and it makes you look like an ass.

But I didn't think anyone would care honestly, I blogged it on a Christian group instead.
And it went well btw, I took a slightly different approach than getting in their face though.
