If there's one thing that will send me into a rage pretty effectively it's the implication that men are completely unable to be monogamous. Yup, the temptation to stray is strictly a male thing and women never feel like that, therefore we should just let men ~be who they are~

I can get that too; I think to me the issue is that for anyone in a relationship it's a choice to stay monogamous or not. Blahhh.

Exactly. It's about choices and freedom for financial and personal stability not how many people men/women could sleep with.

I hate the argument that the secret to maintaining a marriage is to allow men an outlet for extramarital sex. Not only is it blaming men's actions on women (something new and different!), but if I were a guy, I'd be pretty insulted if someone told me I was innately incapable of remaining faithful to my partner.
