Thank you thank you thank you for posting this review! Your dress is utterly delightful, and the craftmanship looks excellent.

If I were making it for myself I would keep the bodice but for the skirt part would just gather a rectangle on, because I prefer pleated and very full skirts, like you mentioned in your conclusion. But the little butterfly sleeves, I am so in love with them :)

Awww, thank you :) My finishing has a long way to go though! I am always so envious of how neat and beautifully-made your crafts are.

Aren't the sleeves adorable? They are my absolute favourite type of sleeves in the whole wide world. You should totally make this! And it would actualy fit you too - in the small sizes packet mine was the biggest, lol.

Now I want to make it in black-and-white leopard print with bright pink trim! XD

Thank you :)

As a beginner, I'm only as good as the pattern I use!

Awwww, thank you <3 I'm such a n00b at it though, lol.

The best part is that they have re-released it as one of their easy 'discount patterns' (see and sew/stitch and save) so it's the identical pattern for half the price.

Definitely want to make it up in white broidere anglaise for summer!
