Title: The Problem with Time
Rating: G
Summary: Another story with my loverly character, Aristedes (sort of). Set in 18th century Venice--a conversation with an old friend about the frustrations of the time period.

Once again, these characters are based almost entirely off mythology (in fact, one is mythological...). They've been around for a while.

Can I just say that I love this? It's so intriguing, and the interaction between these characters is awesome. Are you going to continue this story? I really hope so!

They were currently conversing in Greek, although it was a strange dialect, one which a person listening in would not recognize, even if he did speak the language. In fact, the dialect had died out some thousand or so years ago, not that it mattered to the two men.
^ It's hard to pick one, but this is my favorite bit.

On a less hyper note, yeah, the time is frustrating. Coming late to the party, much?

Aw, thank you! These usually end up being a bunch of one-shots. The fun thing about it, is that since they're immortal, it's spread out over time. And when they're put together (once I get around to posting others >.<) You start being able to guess who the characters are, aside from the few that are original.

When you mention it, a bunch of one-shots must work wonderfully. There's so much one can do with immortal characters, after all! Can't wait to read the others and (maybe) guess. ^_^
