Justin and Brian were meant to be together and in the end Ethan wouldn't have been surprised to see them kissing and being happy.

I love the first line and I love this fic. Nice Ethan POV and revelation. I like that it wasn't an emotional, hate filled villain-like Ethan, but a more mature one. I also loved this line:

"Whatever Justin gave Brian to make him look this happy, he certainly never gave to Ethan."

You're doing a great job getting back into the swing of things.

YES. I want more fics with Ethan where he's IC rather than a kidnapper, rapist, drug-peddling serial-killing baby-snatching whatever! Arrgh.

"I want more fics with Ethan where he's IC rather than a kidnapper..."

YES! Ethan was only human. He made mistakes. And it bothers me that he is vilified in fandom so much. To me it also makes Justin look like an idiot for dealing with him in the first place.

I was also curious about Cowlip choices. Michael gets hunky Dr. David and Ben who both adore him and Justin gets...

Just saying.

Have you read Sesto's Aria by Seperis? It's older, but very good.

As a fandom, we have a tendency to demonize anyone that comes between our favorite boys. It's why we see Michael so OOC all the time.

Although, I might like Ethan better if he didn't use all those horrible, cheesy lines.

Yay! I totally squeed when I saw you'd posted something new. :)
Poor Ethan. He's right, Justin was never intended for him -- but I hope he enjoyed the time that he had.

Because damn if he ever got such undivided attention from Justin.

That's so true. Justin always seemed a bit distracted with Ethan, didn't he?

Yeah, I'm a bit of a slow writer, so I'm glad that I got such a joyous reaction.

I do kinda feel bad for Ethan. I actually noticed Ethan's insecurity more than Justin's distractedness; one of the major cracks in the relationship was his tendency bring Brian up all the time (or chase Justin down in 303).

Either way, it was a doomed relationship from the beginning...

Do you have plans to write something longer at some point?

*Please say yes! Please say yes!*

I have a vague inclination toward one idea that I've been holding onto; however, I am always reluctant to start anything that has multiple chapters, since I'm terrible about finishing them.

Unfortunately, I'm finishing a university degree at the moment, so I can't promise anything at all for the next month or so.
