I agree with so many of these. 'Specially the new S&S, which was fantastic (and Miss Austen Regrets).
Also, July, July!'s so one of their best songs. That and all of Picaresque.

And another Decemberists fan? Awesome! I saw them in concert not too long ago and they were really great.

They're one of the few bands I'd consider seeing live, for they wear fantastic clothings and play the accordion. ;)

And you were a JAG fan? I never watched that show, but I would probably like it since naval crime investigator/lawyer shows are apparently right up my alley. LOL

Pushing Daisies I was so looking forward to - when it got to TV here in the UK, I just could not get into it.... and yet it seemed my kind of thing.
I always like the Olympics - this year though, I got into it a lot more than I usually do.
Frak! We had John Adams on here over Christmas and stupid me never read the cast list. Laura Linney - I've really liked her in the few things I've seen her in and wanted to see more of her work... here's hoping for a quick repeat!
Go you for picking that photo to use or who knows when I would have found out she was in it!

Pushing Daisies isn't everyone's cup of tea - it actually took a while to grow on me, but I just fell in love with the characters after a few episodes and I was totally hooked.
I was obsessed with the Olympics this year. It was crazy - I would just watch it every single night for hours on end. LOL.
John Adams is so so great! I had to use the pic I did cause I was a John/Abigail shipper, which sounds bizarre, but it's true. I actually got the DVD for Christmas so I was super excited.

The Universe is this show on the History Channel oddly enough - they do a different topic each episode like black holes and comets and whatnot, and they talk to physicists and explain everything. I am completely addicted to it now!
