they gave us our W-2s last payday, so i tried to efile. it told me 'please come back later in the month (payday was the 5th). so finaly a couple nites ago, it let me on, and i did it! i get money back for a change! (for those who didnt know and want to, i owed $ the last 3 years) so now i just have to wait til it gets deposited into my acct! and ( Read more... )

yeah for w-2's! I'm actually still waiting for mine to appear... seems us active folks aren't special enuf to have gotten them yet. :b btw, where did you efile? I tried looking on the irs website, but it gives a huge list of third party places to efile.

yea, i used one of the 3rd party sites, cuz i was impatient :) it was only $5 tho... whereas some were up to $20 i think.

we dont usually get our w-2's untill the last day of the month, so dont feel too bad. ^_^ I know turbo tax is a pretty easy one to use onilne.

well, i think the most irksome thing was that all the retirees, annuitants, reservists, and marines (active and reserve) got theirs in something like a week after new year. :b

and i have heard that turbotax is pretty good, but i'm not sure it's free... cuz otherwise i can just make an appointment at legal and get it done for free.
