Got back on Wed from Florida and am just about getting over the jetlag.How do you like what my Mum picked up there??Had a brilliant time over there and hope to go again next year though only if the sales are on in the shops!!Oh and can i just say one thing...candid yams...YUK!

Candied yams are so good when done right! Lots of sugar, that's the key. Enough to taste the granules that haven't been dissolved yet, mmmm, I would like some sould food tonight, please.

Well they might be ok eaten with the right things but not on a turkey dinner.We had turkey,ham,green bean casserole(which i'd never had before but was very nice)roast spuds,roast parsnips and bloody candid yams awhich are sweet and THERE SHOULD BE A LAW AGAINST!
Oh and this stuffing with olives and celery which was ok but not as good as sage and onion stuffing

The rest of the food i had there was gorgeous and i am now as fat as a pig!!!

That is mandatory to gain weight at Thanksgiving. I keeps the cold off your bones all winter.
