China Glaze Reviews

So bean_bunny recommended China Glaze and I have fallen totally and completely in love with it, mostly because they make nail polish the same way Crayola makes crayons. I know they're not the only brand out there who makes lots of bright rainbow colors, but I've yet to find another one that I like quite as much.

I've got both the neon oranges from the Ink line and both of them take a million coats. Pink Voltage wasn't as bad and Blue Sparrow didn't have that problem at all - two coats and it was good to go. Don't you have the purple from that collection? How do you like it?

Your Light My Tiki looks like a slightly more orange version of my Jamaican Out. If you're looking for great reds, my favorites so far have been Winter Berry, Red Pearl, and Ruby Pumps. I like my reds on the darker side, though - bright red just doesn't do it for me.

I think Rainbow would be lovely done as a few coats all by itself. I wasn't too happy with what it did to Grape Pop - it felt very 90s teenager to me.

I do have the purple (Flying Dragon) and I LOVE it. It could have seriously taken only one coat, although I did two just to be sure. It's a lot like Blue Sparrow with the minimal glitter but just enough to be fun. (I've been seriously eye-ing Purple Panic from this collection, too, while we're at it

I've got Rose Among Thorns but haven't tried it yet. Fair warning - it's definitely in the darker pink range, but not a red. And I'm with you on liking Japanese Koi better than Orange Knockout - I bought both because I couldn't tell which was darker based on the colors my monitor was showing me.

I would love to see Rainbow over either of those colors - please post photos if you do it! I don't have Lemon Fizz because I have learned that yellow looks terrible on me, but I'm curious to see the effects Rainbow has on it.
