Ah, the food-to-comfort-the-mourners. I've experienced the phenominom far too often in my lifetime, and it still baffles me. Though in a way, it did help, what with everyone always in and out of the house, always talking and reliving the good old times when the deceased was still with us, sharing memories with the younger loved ones who didn't have as much time with the person. It can be a blessing and a curse. I'm sorry to hear of your loss, but I'm glad to hear that he passed without pain, and with his family nearby. ::hugs you very tightly::
