I do think that if Eric were to dress up for real in canon he wouldn't break out the old Viking gear, I think he would be more witty with his costume and do as little as possible, using his skill as a conifidence man make his transformation real. So, great choice with the whole Clark Kent thing. I also liked how Eric was just a little ironic about picking the less formidable persona of Clark as opposed to Superman, I also loved how you had Sookie looking for the S on his chest because it shows how Sookie is not fooled by his 'civilian' facade. She knows he could squish her. And she knows he won't.
Sorry this is a long comment, I just love superhero/split personality psychology, so i really dug the metaphors in this peice.
Also bonus for acknowledging that if Eric took Sookie flying, she would have a blast.

This is one of my favorite aspects of True Blood vs SVN. I love that we see the vamps (particularly Eric) as scary. Because they are! Loved, for instance, Sook slapping him and then realizing instantly that it was a baaad idea and then sticking to her guns anyway.

No need to apologize for a long comment. I'm totally engrossed by other people's analysis of a story.

I would love to have something like this happen next season. The banter between the two of them was perfect. And I'm wishing hard for Eric to find out about Sookie's dreams. I'd be extremely happy if it was something that she let slip out.

This is definitely a one-shot I'd love to read more of if you decide to continue it.

I love that your Eric talks like he does on the show, rather than book Eric. That this one is clearly True Blood fic and not Southern Vampire Mysteries fic.

I can only hope anything this awesome could actually happen in Season 3! That bit with him biting the stripper and staring at Sookie was hot.
