I am, but it's very strange. I feel like she should still be in middle school.

"Equine podiatrist". It sounds so...hoighty. I will tell this to my favorite brother, whose horse keeps throwing shoes. Maybe it will help the price of each "equine podiatrist" visit go down a little easier.

Daughter 1 --- out of college! She was just a little girl the other day! You must be so proud.

Thank you, and perhaps an "equine podiatrist" can cure that horse's tendency to throw shoes. Or maybe it needs an equine psychiatrist?

Aw, big congrats M:TNG-1! I'm glad that things are looking so positively for her. And you're so right about how much easier it is to not lose touch with people now.

Hahaha, I feel like what you experienced in Charlottesville is pretty much the epitome of that city. Or, at the very least, was always my experience when I visited (both my sister & the-adman attended UVA).

And I've been to stops like that too, where there is a separate area for the truckers and the civilians. It made me feel very soft-handed and white collar(in a bad way) and that I should be more in touch with the roadster inside. Definitely in areas as different to Charlottesville as possible. .
