I had watched True Blood while this started recording so that I could fast forward through the commercials. My husband came into the living room as it was starting, and I was sure he'd ask to switch to the soccer news after about 15 minutes, but he sat through the whole thing with me, enthralled by the horror.

I was thinking the game could be drink when the bounty hunter has a truly awful line of dialog, but that would have caused alcohol poisoning by the halfway point. (No wonder she said all her lines through gritted teeth. Or was that the actress' idea of how to sound tough?) Maybe a drink every time James threw a stick of dynamite?

It was enjoyable in a "damn, this is awful" way. I recommend watching while we hope someone offers him a good role in a weekly series.

It was a cheesefest, so I ordered pizza and lacaid. And hey, I got the theme for this year's Halloween Party out of it Space Western. Dress up as cowboy or alien. Poss. viewing of Spectre of the Gun or an ep of Firefly. Poker and country music.

*G* Don't tell the homophobic Klingon CO, I have decided to adopt the "Capt. Jack" rule for the ST party themes. The 40s Holodeck Canteen was a huge hit. The "picnic inside" last month was a fail IMO. So from now on I ask myself, would Capt. Jack like this theme? Then I ask if it's legal in a public library where we hold our meetings.
