they only look good on other characters, not me

Ohh, come on, self! Draw, draw! It is incredibly distressing when one cannot even draw their own original characters. The more time that passes, the more I find myself missing all of the files that were lost off of my laptop. So many concept sketches, gone! Perhaps they were not very good, yes, but they were somethingMy mum's going to the ( Read more... )

Nah, optometrist checkups are seriously just squinting through lenses and doing goofy depth perception tests. My optometrist could bore a person to death. And when yours asks, "Better or worse?" about the lenses you're squinting through, it's okay to not really be able to tell and give a "durrr sorta?" answer.

I think it is quite common to have one stronger eye. I do! I can get by on two contact lenses of the same prescription, but when I do that, I can't, like. Read.

If you freak out and smush the Uboa cake, at least it'll just look like a Giygas cake instead! ... Wait, that's bad. D:

That makes me feel a great better, Pyra. Thanks! I fuss over the dippiest things sometimes, I swear.

I actually told my brother that a Giygas cake would be both twice as cool and twice as horrifying, but alas, he's never seen Giygas so he doesn't want to believe my stories. I keep forcing telling him to play Earthbound, but...

Can you imagine trying to explain that to a baker? "Oh, and may I get those decorative little chocolate bars with the writing on them? And can they read 'NESS NESS NESS NESS NESS'? Splendid!"

No problem! Nothing wrong with being idly curious as to whether you're gonna get probed.

Your brother can't grasp the true form of Giygas's terror! Man, now I want a Giygas cake. With NESS NESS NESS accompaniments. I know what I'm asking for for my birthday!

Or we could just make cookies.

You haven't been to the optometrist's before? :O Don't worry, they won't do anything crazy~ xD Like pyrasaur said, the worst you're going to get is some comparison tests; maybe eyedrops that dilate your pupils and make them feel a bit funny (not hurt-funny, just weird) or a puff of air in each eye as well :> As far as doctor visits go, it's a fairly pleasant experience!

Yay, your birthday's coming up so quickly! If it were plausible, I would totally go to your magical tea party because let's face it, we could all stand to attend a few more of those xD ♥
