Nah, optometrist checkups are seriously just squinting through lenses and doing goofy depth perception tests. My optometrist could bore a person to death. And when yours asks, "Better or worse?" about the lenses you're squinting through, it's okay to not really be able to tell and give a "durrr sorta?" answer.

I think it is quite common to have one stronger eye. I do! I can get by on two contact lenses of the same prescription, but when I do that, I can't, like. Read.

If you freak out and smush the Uboa cake, at least it'll just look like a Giygas cake instead! ... Wait, that's bad. D:

I actually told my brother that a Giygas cake would be both twice as cool and twice as horrifying, but alas, he's never seen Giygas so he doesn't want to believe my stories. I keep forcing telling him to play Earthbound, but...

You haven't been to the optometrist's before? :O Don't worry, they won't do anything crazy~ xD Like pyrasaur said, the worst you're going to get is some comparison tests; maybe eyedrops that dilate your pupils and make them feel a bit funny (not hurt-funny, just weird) or a puff of air in each eye as well :> As far as doctor visits go, it's a fairly pleasant experience!
