My grandfather was an hungarian, born in Pécs. :) But he went to the Netherlands to work, met my grandmother and stayed! Isn't that romantic ;)

aha... ok, i thought u r in the netherlands to visit :)
so "mákosguba" is a very much hungarian sweet, and usually people love it. when i lived in london we always mad "mákosguba party" with my english friends coz the loved it so much :)
if u want i can give u the recipe :D
