She crosses my wires. I am, by nature, a forgiving person ... well, at least to those I love. I won't try to empathize with you here (even though I most certainly can). I don't know the exact circumstances surrounding events past and present, but in the face of something like this I try to remember a line from Buffy about forgiveness [because I am nerdcore] in which Giles says: "It's not done because people deserve it. It's done because they need it."

Yeah, in the end, I caved. She was sort of playing at that "Let's pretend nothing ever happened" mode and I sort of just went with it. Some things just aren't worth rehashing. I may not be good at letting things good but even I realized that it was sort of necessary here. We're not the same people we were in high school.
