Despite the fact that I really prefer LJ to Facebook in almost all respects (all except that the fact that far more people I know are on Facebook, these days), I keep finding myself neglecting the former in favour of the latter. This must stop. In particular, awesome stories about the Lynxcub must be posted here, because they are much more findable

I know what you mean about FB posts never being retrievable. It's frustrating and makes me long for the days when LJ was the place to be.

I, too, lament my neglected LJ, the dust of nearly a year having gathered in the wake of daily FB scanning (not that post a whole lot there, either, these days). For awhile, I'd post on LJ and had set up FB notes to automatically grab LJ posts as FB notes, but then it seemed not to work and then, well, I haven't posted much. I do keep up with my friends page, though, so am glad to see your posts. :^)
