BTW, I used the spelling I've seen more commonly in Irish names, because the character is supposed to be Irish. I don't think I've ever actually met anyone other than you with the spelling you have, but I'm guessing it's more of a North American thing, like when people spell Aidan with an e.

Nora(h) is such an old fashioned name and is quite rare now with any spelling... I just think it looks naked without the h. I can't say what cultural background my version has as I was named after a total stranger. Well to more percise the well written obituary of a total stranger. Norah Jones of Hamilton, died in her 80s. You have no idea how confused I was when she showed up yonger then me and winning Grammies.
