CATUTU! These stories are awesome and make me excited about having children (usually I am apprehensive/in denial :P).

Thanks - glad you're finding them inspiring!

Though in all honesty, there are also times when Aidan is a not-so-good advertisement for parenthood (the whole "terrible twos" thing is not entirely a myth) - I just don't tend to blog about those, because I usually prefer to try and erase them from my memory.

That's me about many of the things in my life that are less than enjoyable. Mostly, they only make the blog if they can be made funny for others, or if I need advice. Sadly, this leads people to think that I must never have problems or that I'm always amazing at solving them. Hahaha as if.

Every now and then, your son makes me question my decisions on not breeding.

But then I have a nice drinkie-poo and a lie-down and everything goes back to normal.

Catutu. Having a nice nap. I'm going to be snorfling over that all day.

The best remedy for that (apart from said drinkie-poo, that is) is knowing other people with kids who you can hang out with on occasion.

Spending time with kids can be fun and awesome, regardless of whether or not you ever decide to have any of your own. There is much to be said for being the Cool/Weird Aunt (whether biologically related or not) - it has many of the perks of parenthood, without the responsibilities. :-) (I had about 18 years of experience in that role prior to ever becoming a parent.)

A-haha! Your kid is awesome. He reminds me of my friends' daughter who, as a toddler, had a stuffed Cthulhu that she called "Lulu".
