Sorry for the belated reply - I've been feeling very low energy today and not quite up to the prospect of a trek out to Mississauga.

I think I may have to pass on this bookshelf because I still have some more Ivar shelves coming from nocturnalia and valgarth, and I think my apartment may actually be hitting bookshelf saturation point. For tall bookshelves, anyway... But thank you for thinking of me.

Hope your stuff swap/giveaway/etc. went well!

I hope you'll have absorbed some salsa moves. Cha cha cha. I hope you'll tell me how to do them. Cha cha cha.

I didn't actually end up going down for any of the dance lessons, because it looked a little too crowded for my comfort, plus it looked like you were supposed to have a dancing partner. But I did watch some of them from my bedroom window and try to pick up what I could.

Actually, I have been thinking lately that I really, really want to take some kind of dance classes sometime soon, maybe starting in September. I'm not overly picky what kind -- there are lots that interest me. I wouldn't mind trying Salsa, because it does look like fun, but I also have a big interest in Indian dance (there are actually a whole bunch of places in Toronto offering Bollywood dance classes now -- I checked!). And belly dancing has a certain amount of appeal.

But just about any of these would be more fun if it was not just me signing up for them. Interested? :-)

This does sound fun. If you find a place you like let me know. The cost is sort of key for me, as is location.

I intend to be WAY out of town when Taste of the Danforth comes around.

I am, apparently, much more misanthropic than you. :)
