That ritual sounds fantastic -- I can't imagine having a group organized enough to do anything of the sort... most of the circles that I've worked with, even the more organized ones, were a hell of a lot more slapdash than that. How awesome.

If it is indeed, the resort that taikakettu referred to, there is indeed snow on the hills, and most of the runs are open. (a mere 20 minutes from us, if we weren't off to Morg's family) It's been cold enough at night for the resort to be making their own snow in the nights, and not warm enough for it to melt during the day.
