You can't beat knitting along to classical music; it makes me so ridiculously calm... Until I drop a stitch that is... My mum taught me the craft a fair few years ago and, periodically, I get knitting fever. I'm attempting to fulfil a childhood dream at the moment by trying to knit a Clanger. :3

I am absolutely poo at sewing; never, ever let me near a sewing machine because people WILL get hurt. I rather like knitting though, and making a Clanger is a childhood dream; I asked my mum to knit me one when I was about two and a half, but it came out looking more like a pig. XD Bless her!
That lecture was ugh! I really have no interest in gender issues in early America at all. It made me want to crawl into a corner and weep... T___T

A couple of years ago I was at school doing textiles and I heard my friend Danny say 'ow' VERY calmly,I turned around and his hand had slipped while he was using the sewing machine. X_x
He had little blue threaded x's all down his thumb.I would've been screaming. :O
