Seventeen years, incredible. My favorite socks I got for the winter holidays about 5 years ago. They are wonderful, they don't have a tight elastic band at the top, so they haven't gotten all stretched out and saggy, yet they stay up year after year. The thick cotton has provided much welcomed extra padding. And they have held up well, but I just don't see them making it another 12 years. If only!
