Eddings and McCaffrey are both simply amazing.

They were both great storytellers. I was quite sad to learn David Eddings had died a few years ago, and Anne McCaffrey died only recently.

Egyptian myth and sci-fi? Sounds like my kinda stuff. I will have to check out Creatures of Light and Dark. Sounds intriguing since I'm a huge fan of ancient Egypt.

I have to say i love David and Leigh Eddings, I read every book i could get my hands on when i was 13...Mythology is a great subject and the Princess bride is my favorite movie... I never get tired of watching it.
