Are they just counting genital herpes?

Because I get cold sores on my lips, and technically, that's Herpes as well. So I have herpes. If they're counting cold sores as well, I guarantee that list is a LOT longer. :)

I have to take Valtrex for the cold sores on my lip I get from time to time. My doctor assured me several times that's is not the sexual STD herpes, but it's still a shock to the system when your doctor says "I'm going to write you out a prescription for Valtrex" lol
