Yesterday morning I got up late and realized that, though I knew I'd run out of catfood the morning before, I had forgotten that I didn't have any cans of tuna left. But your apartment DIDN'T burn down, and your cats DIDN'T hurt themselves, and no one starved. So chalk it up to one of those things that happens when you are an adult on a budget, and take a deep breath, and let it go.

*hugs* We might not be the well-adjusted adults we see in magazines and on TV, but we're still putting forth a decent effort at being grown-ups, I think!!

(I had tupperware with leftover salmon in my lunchbox for like three weeks, in a condo that was often quite warm, and it hadn't grown legs yet when I put it in the dishwasher last night. I count that as a win. So what if I never sweep?)

this sounds like the worst day in the world D:

i'm sorry all this happened to you, especially about the cooker burner! god, i've done it before with the oven, but never the electric burner!
