My To Do List from yesterday was... well. Spotty at best. To recap (needlessly).

1. I think I'm going to go to the gym, go for my run, and then just go home.At 4:45 I started getting a visualization which meant a migraine was nigh. I took some pills and managed to avoid the worst of it, but unfortunately my stomach was so upset that I just couldn ( Read more... )

Eh I'm more of a hater than you are sweetie and I don't even hate it. It's just... eh. To be quite honest I don't really like Demi too much but my friends do and if they're happy then I'm happy but I agree. The Jemi craziness being constantly shoved down my throat is making me drown. And want to hit my head against a wall LOL.

For what it's worth I think you're wonderful :)

I just wanted to be clear that I don't find something intrinsically wrong with something they enjoy, you know? I think some people feel judged when they see that their opinion isn't shared and that's definitely not where I'm coming from with Jemi. But I'm glad I'm not the only one who is skipping out on the bulk of the info about them.

They are really young. I've often made noise about my issues with the fact that she's not 18. Those still stand. But even when it comes to being innocent and holding hands, it's not my cuppa.

(Their emotions get HULK-SMASHED BY REALITY, is what.)
Epic truth. I would be bummed if they stopped being friends if they broke up. Also the songs they wrote would be soooooo uncomfortably honest, I bet.

I hate how people have to disclaim or excuse not liking Joe/Demi ;__; SOME OF US JUST DON'T LIKE IT AND PEOPLE NEED TO GET OVER THAT.

I hope you feel all-round better soon <3

I suppose it is a bit silly to justify it, but I don't like people assuming that they know why I dislike the ship. I don't hate het (though I don't enthuse it), and I don't hate Demi (I'm just not a fanatic).

Another issue is that I don't often get excited to point wanting to know everything about a couple.

Ina Garten, my idol, has a sweet sorta hilarious husband named Jeffrey and I would love to have their easy relationship one day, but I don't seek out examples and stories of their true life love story. Also they're old. But you know, Brad and Angelina are hot and I never read anything at all about them. idk, idk.

I hope the exact same for you though, hon. <33

What do you think would have happened to her if she had just said she didn't like them?

I-probably nothing? I've just seen a lot of HATERS TO THE LEFT comments at CUF and it's annoying me.

I think I am just so used to the boys keeping their relationships so far down on the down-low that any PDA or admissions involving them makes me feel awkward.

I give credit to Joe and Demi that they are willing to put their relationship out there but it still feels intrusive (?) or something I can't put my finger on my part to look at photos of the two cuddling in a park together or listen to Demi gush about how great Joe is (which I have no doubt that he is!). JB are my first real person fandom so maybe that's why it's so weird to me. At a certain point it all just seems too personal. Which it shouldn't - because if it doesn't bother them then why should it bother me?

p.s. Thanks again for the Austin restaurant recs - made it out to both Trudy's (twice - and had the fried avocado twice) and Magnolia Cafe. Both were deliciousssssss.
