Yesterday people took pictures of Kevin with his fiance, and Joe and Nick.

Oh fuck, man. Now I want fic about Nick treating Joe like a lady because he's got a crush and he doesn't know what else to do and Joe is all "What's going on? *shrugs*" and enjoys it and someone is finally like HELLO HE LIKES YOU HE'S PULLING ALL THE MOVES. Fandom neeeeeds to make this happen.

Even though Joe is a total boy about a lot of things it just WORKS SO WELL when you make him Nick's girl. Because Joe isn't going to get uptight about Nick opening doors for him, or threatening to beat up guys for him, or putting his arm around him in a movie. Joe is going to take Nick's affection ANY way he can get it. Plus it totally makes Nick hot so, extra win.

Ugh, I know! Nick is the YOUNGER BROTHER, but he's shielding Joe with his body and checking on him just like Kevin does with Danielle and it KILLS ME. There's another pic where Nick seems to be glaring not-so subtle dagger at the guy who asked Joe for an autograph:

!! That is a GREAT PICTURE. HE IS SO ALPHA. His little SPREAD SHOULDERS and his HARSH LITTLE FROWN. He's not IMPRESSED. Joe can be all waifish and sweet, because Nick will STEP-UP and PROTECT.

He is just really PROTECTIVE of his family. But mostly JOE. And I bet his MOM too. He's old fashioned and has this INSTINCT about being present and protective of the LADIES in his life.

SO ALPHA. Joe has no killer instinct for all his working out. He's got biceps but no idea how to use 'em, but Nick is so confrontational, even when it's not intentional, you just have to imagine he'd be good in a fight. Particularly in a fight to defend Joe's honor.

It just, it goes hand in hand with Nick's ownership of Joe's whole being. It's pretty obvious Nick hates it when people touch what's his without permission...
