NYPC, yo!

I've never thought of myself as a very hip person, but I'm gonna go out on a very narcissistic limb and say I've got great fucking taste in music, man. Why do I say this? Sometimes I find obscure bands, and six months later, I hear them everywhere. Example

LOL, I hate it when that happens - when you discover an obscure band that are awesome and then they go mainstream and everyone loves them and it's like, they were MINE!

I know, right! I feel like when bands go mainstream I have to jump off the bandwagon and not like them until they're obscure again. LOL

NYPC is amazing and I'm also kind of annoyed that they're considered all hip now.

They are amazing, I agree. Between them and Black Kids, I never listen to anything else on my iPod. :-)

Popping in to say that I LOVE Black Kids. Partie Traumatic is a great album. :)

They do so rock muchly. It took me a while to like the album because they redid a bunch of songs from their EP "The Wizard of Ahhs" and I was used to hearing the rough cuts. But now it's awesome. :-)
