this is what happens when you are tired and get lazy with your knife skills while using a very sharp knife to cut broccoli for soup
( dont worry it isn't too gory. because it was a very sharp knife, there wasn't a lot of blood )

work, the thumb incident, random notes, occupational hazard, kathi is an idiot

When I was on my last placement one patient had got the end of his finger with the lawn mower... I took the photos for him.

yup yup, i have learned a very interesting (because it wasn't painful) lesson. i shall be a hella lot more cautious in the future

it only hurts wen i bump it, i have severed a nerve ending.
by the time i got back to work it has grown to the tip of my thumb nearly off too i had chopped my finger off. all the younger guys wanted to have a look, i had my phone out a lot lol
