so, things are getting better. we are moving right along now. it's hard to ignore the mess that's being created in the process, but i know that will be an easy fix once all of the big stuff is loaded into that uhaul tomorrow morning!! i have successfully packed ALL of my clothes and shoes and managed to make another pretty significant downsize

Moving really sucks doesn't it?!?! Not sure why we all keep doing it then...well, because for every new place we visit, there are new friends, new experiences, new things to see. It expands the mind...or something like that. But why are you using Uhaul! I can't handle them anymore. Sure the trucks are convenient, ONCE you get it. Trying to find a place to pick one up, drop off, fighting traffic. Shit, it's too much. And that whole time issue. There is never enough time, you're always rushed, because for every extra second you get charged another $50 or something. Sorry, a bit over exaggerated there but you get the point. My recommendation? Try one of the pods companies next time, like Door to Door moving pods - http://www.doortodoor.com. SOOOOOO much easier. Up front costs are (were) a bit higher but after that it all pays off.
