Overall, the summer season (especially early summer) puts me in a good mood. Work is slower (or at least not as time sensitive), vacation is coming up, and the students are gone. Last night we attempted to trap the cat that has been keeping Brittany awake. It meows and meows and prevents her from sleeping. We have also been feeding a different cat that comes near our apartment. We set the traps...and came up with nothing this morning. Well, not quite nothing. Our trip to Brownsville was nice. We did not do anything too exciting - went to the zoo, chilled by the pool, played dominoes and cards with my grandparents, ate - and that about covers it. We leave tomorrow for Brownsville. I am calling it our "practice vacation." Obviously, everyone needs a practice vacation before going on a bigger trip, right? This week has been crazy busy for work. It is closing, I have 111 apartment residents to check out, and then there is the RA banquet and graduation stuff.
