We've actually been there; our former church went there and re-roofed the dorm/kitchen/dining hall area. We've been VERY impressed with them. Once we had all (but two) of the girls from their choir stay at our house and they were all really nice. Their newsletter is always interesting with a conservative worldview. We've met quite a few of the people who teach there, and a family that sends a lot of their kids there lives just down the road from my aunt and uncle in E. MN area, and we've heard that they are a nice family. If I were to go to Bible college, Cornerstone would win, pretty much hands down.

Oh WOW! Thanks so much for your encouraging comment, Amanda. So this is the place you went to in S.D.? Sheesh, it's such a small world. The more I learn about Cornerstone, the more pleased I become. My mom just asked our pastor if he knew anything about it and he is actually very good friends with the man who started the college. Our pastor said that the teaching was doctrinally sound, the atmosphere was nice and the campus was beautiful. Your words are an even greater confirmation! :-)

Yup, that was the place; I reupholstered all thirty-whatever of their dining room chairs, and Justin fell through the ceiling in one of the dorm rooms. The guys' dorm had a terrible layer of soap scum in the shower, but the greasy hood over the commercial range was the worst to clean. Fun memories! As soon as I mentioned to mom that you'd asked about CBI, she wanted to make sure my report was glowing-y enough. =D The Petersons (I'm not sure if they still work there, as they're getting older with health problems and stuff) were the pastor's family at our former church years ago before everthing got yucky there.
