Anne Elliot and roast chickenmisssylviadrakeNovember 22 2007, 21:47:47 UTC
Dearest,
When I was recovering from one of my Terrible Thursdays,I put a whole group of pictures of Anne Elliot on my blog. Ann Firbank, Amanda Root, & Sally Hawkins.
We are having a roast chicken too. And peace and quiet. Dad bought a bottle of Riesling wine (the white stuff in a long thin bottle), which I like. I'm watching the 1979 _P&P_ and reading along in Austen. I wrote a blog about our day and have received a couple of kind letters. One by a woman who was with us that day we went to Salisbury cathedrale and tried to find Mr Harding's house.
Till we met over a chicken at last.
I'm glad to know you are enjoying your day; it helps me enjoy mine more too.
Much love, hugs, kisses, and all that good stuff, Sylvia
Wow, while watching that I kept expecting someone else to show up from OZ (as in the HBO show, where Rita Moreno played Sister Peter Marie.)
Which reminds me. The first two seasons of Sesame Street were released on DVD recently - with a Mature rating. Not that it was vulgar, but because what was acceptable back then wouldn't be now - for example, in the first episode a little girl (Sally) gets lost, and a complete stranger (Gordon) takes her around Sesame Street.
