Loki is being way too hard on himself, by saving Manhattan Loki has most likely secured a peace treaty and become a hero to many people.

The interaction between Tony and Loki is priceless. I especially love the part where Loki knocked the iron man suit's face; the mental image is adorable >[]<

Loki has a frighteningly low self-esteem. He's physically battered senseless and now he's mentally beating himself to sheds, to the point of wanting to die, no less. I hope either Steve or Tony would show up to next chapter and then hug the self-worth into him.
