Title: When rules change Author: MissisJoker Warnings: bad grammar and multiple mistakes Disclaimer: most of the characters are not mine, but all the mistakes are.
I am shipping Steve/Loki so hard it hurts. But since this fic seems to be Gen, I won't let my hope up, though they are still cute together.
I am not going to judge Thor in this chapter. His intention was mostly good and he did perform a good deed. It's just that he didn't know the following consequences, but honestly, I don't think he would care.
Lastly, enter Stark. He always know to how make an entrance. I hope we are going to get Tony's POV at some point there, because I wanna know what goes through his mind when he sees a man waving green sparkles on top of the Statue of Liberty.
You know what, before I started writing this fic I didn't even like Captain America- nor its original film, plus IDK why but in this fandom there aren't any Steve/Loki fics at all for some reason.
but when I started writing them together- especially pre-Thor Loki- I realized that they perfectly complement each other, such a great pairing! This fic is supposed to be gen with elements of ust- but as I promised the original prompter, the pairing is supposed to be FrostIron (Loki/Tony) later on (and yes, now I feel bad cause I've got into Loki/Steve that much).
And again, you are right - Thor did it with good intentions, and he just got conveniently unlucky.
Stark's POV- definitely, though it would be hard, since I'm far from genius XD
Same here. From his movie, I found Cap to be one of the flattest characters in the Avengers team (seconded to Black Widow). He is just too....goody-goody and wided-eyed for my taste. But after a considerable amount of time spending in this fandom, I'm coming to like him. Kinda weird when it's the fan, instead of the source material, that add depths to the character.
The lack of Steve/Loki is a tragedy, but I can see why; both characters already have their own ship, Steve/Tony and Thor/Loki respectively. Those ships are practically canon. But I always find Steve/Loki and Tony/Loki the most interesting and fun to read. Steve/Loki, as you put it, are complete opposite of each other, and you know what they say about opposite attracts. Tony/Loki, on the other hand, are practically the same, and I love reading them snarking the hell out of each other.
Soooo, either you write Steve/Loki or Tony/Loki, I'm happy. But if you can insert Steve being jealous of Tony for stealing his friend, *cough*potentialboyfriend*cough*, I will be in heaven.
I know, Tony/Steve and Loki/Thor are "cannon" in fandom though I have 2 huge problems with them- Tony/Steve in film lacks backbone. yes, they fight together and such, but there is no "spark" between them, in Avengers I would much likely ship Tony with Bruce- there sparks fly
( ... )
Well I like that this fic is gen and I am eager to see how well Tony and Loki get along, I also want to see my dear Asgardian Ice Giant have some fun and show power!
