Just some general questions...

We're just under 150 days left in the challenge. How are you all doing on your lists? Are you behind, ahead, right on track? Are you doing anything to make sure you accomplish your goals before the 1001 days are up ( Read more... )

This is the second time I've attempted 101 in 1001. I've decided that I probably won't do it again, or at least not until some time has passed. My life is in way too much flux for me to properly make goals for things so far in the future. I love the *idea* of it, but in reality, it's simply not workable. I've started doing yearly goals, which is a time frame that works better for me.

Wish I'd done differently? I don't know. I think I probably put down too many things that require change on a daily basis; it's hard to make multiple changes at once, IME.

That's a really good point about putting too many daily-basis goals. I had a problem with that as well. Things to think about for next time.

At this point I've accomplished about half the things on my list. I feel good about that, but still sort of discouraged overall...life didn't go at all how I expected, so a lot of my goals became moot, and a number of others I sort of lost interest in...they seemed like a good idea back when this started (two years ago??? wow), but didn't work out that way in truth. It frustrates me, naturally.

So, now I'm really itching to start on a new challenge that's a little more applicable to my daily life. I've already started my next list.

I haven't done much of my list, or at least I feel I've reached only 1/4th or 1/5th of them. But I'm okay with that, it's not too serious. I think I will try to look at what I can do about unreached goals soon.

I've learned that I need greater reminders and more list reviewing to do my goals.

I will be doing this challenge again, though not immediately - but not have a year(s)-long break *lol* And what I've learned from doing this here will no doubt help when I do this again. :)

I've had the same issues as others: too many "do this every day" goals, losing interest, and life changes. I've finished about 1/3, and expect to finish a few more, but definitely nowhere near completing my list.

I probably won't try again for several years, if at all, but I enjoyed having my list sitting around with ideas when I was looking for something to do. :)

i guess i've done slightly more than half my list.. and i agree with most pple that the daily ones are quite hard :( and those that have to be done x number of times.. sometimes i just lose track of how many times i've accomplished it..

another problem is that i've lost interest in some of the items, so i've changed my list a few times already.

and some items, such as 'passing grade 7 theory exam', just seem too daunting that i've not even started on it. i guess i should break these down into smaller sub-goals for my next 101 list!

so, although it hasnt been as successful as i'd wished, im excited to have another try :)
