Tommi and I somehow got into talking about doing a rewatch of Battlestar Galactica and to make things even more diffifult we are going to attempt to make three icons for every single episode we watch!
In this post we'll discuss/talk about the episodes we watched and there'll be regular updates for the icons we make too!

MINI SERIES
5.3. & 8.3.

Oh, I forgot to ask your thoughts on this - do we make 3 or 6 icons of the mini series? I watched approximately half of it yesterday but am unsure if I should icon it now or wait until Friday :)
It was pretty intense, and I had forgotten how awesome Kara was, love her dialogue ♥

I'd say that we make 6 icons for the mini-series? because it's so long and so much is happening and all :)
I only watched about 45 mins of it last night because i got so bloody damn tired but OMG *__*

All the feels when Gaeta goes to Adama when he first steps on the bridge and just andjsfndfnsnkl my poor bb!

I love how young they all look. And so sweet and innocent!
Kara is truly awesome! She doesn't take your shit! Ha!

Also what I always loved about the beginning is the way it was filmed. You move through the ship with one character then this character meets another one and now you're following them! It's amazing!

Works for me! I'll make the first three tonight then so I won't have to make 6 at once - I watched about halfway, and would have really wanted to just continue watching cause it was so captivating :) too bad I started watching so late, so the same thing happened to me, had to go to sleep at some point :p

Oh I love the way it was filmed too :) and how we already get glimpses of most of the main characters.
How am I going to pick favorite scenes or characters though, sooo many great things to choose from D:

Still haven't gotten around to watch the second half but that's on my bucket list for the night! :D

YES! So damn awesome *__* That's something I love about BSG in general a lot! There's always a face you recognise because even the background(ish) people are always played by the same actors! It's freaking awesome! :D

I chose Boomer for my favourite character of the first half :) And right now I'm leaning towards Kara for my second choice but I'll watch the 2nd half and decide then!
Fav scenes ... ehm... now i'm confronted with the problem of how to make one icon embodying the entire mini-series!

These are so gorgeous and I love your choices! I thought if that Roslin moment too, it's really amazing and the acting is perfect, her delivery really really sells it.

The coloring and lighting of that 6 icon is particularly spot on and I really love how these are kind of like a gradient from dark to bright :>

Her acting in that scene (well over the whole course of the show tbh xD) ist just so heart-breaking! She indeed sells it

OMG, that Kara icon is so fantastic, I adore how it has this great combination of shiny and matteish look, idek how to properly describe it but it's gorgeous. The coloring is perfection too as well as the text. Love that quote :D and the other two are great too, love the crops especially and omg yes to Tricia's iconability.
All those scenes you list are amazing indeed. Especially about leaving the ships behind, omg, one thing I really love about this show is that they have to make hard decisions like that.

Yes and also that there are always consequences to your actions! However well intended they might be and human make mistakes and have to bade through the mess they make first until it gets better!

Ok I'm totally behind at this, but trying to catch up! These are my choices for both parts of the miniseries:

I'm really behind too! Just made the icons for the mini-series and will watch 33 in a few :)
But no pressure :)

I absolutely love your choices and now I'm looking back at my icons and am thinking that they suck because yours are so vreative and perfect!
Especially the Six one and The Gaius one! Especially the Gaius one!
Also I think you really captured the scene where Boomer is revealed to be a cylon and I love the b&w with red choice!
Also the blues on the Saul icon *__*

Omg how have I not thanked for this awesome feedback yet??? D: anyway THANKS ♥ I'm so glad you like them cause I really struggled with the caps and ideas (idk why but I always have a lot of difficulty starting a challenge, and then it becomes gradually easier when I continue. This is why the first icons of almost any of my sets are usually crappy and the rest slightly better :D)
