I sat down and watched Captain America at the weekend. I know, I'm about a year (or two?) behind the rest of fandom, but I am now trying pretty valiantly to make up for lost time. The aim is to watch all the set up movies in time to be able to go see this Avengers thing you're all going on about while it's still on at the cinema. Believe it or not

Ahahaha I disagree with you on so many levels (and I shall not start on Joss Whedon because meh) but had you really not seen any of the avenger-y-type things before. I feel like a bad friend for not noticing.
