Taking a deep breath, Annette did not call out; she went to the door and opened it. "Hi, Marco." She said softly, smiling warmly at him.

She blushed slightly, "Thank you, Marco. This was so sweet of you." She took the bear, candy, and flowers and placed them behind her on her desk. "You shouldn't have, really."

Turning back to face him, she said, "You look really nice too. I have something for you, if you don't mind my pinning it on your jacket?" Annette picked up the rose boutonniere from her desk and showed him.
