Not having any workshops today, gave Annette free time to do whatever she wanted. First thing this morning she had visited Aly and got her homework for John's class out of the way, though she was pretty sure John was really going to hear about that one from Aly, omigod.

Mac made her way up there a floor, and gave a quick tap on the door. Waiting a moment before poking her head in.

"I'm here for a certain lemming," she said, a little smile at Annette.

"Hey, Mac," Annette said, smiling wide when she saw her. "Come in and yeah, Poe is...Poe. Just sitting there in his cage and staring out at me. Or whatever. He hasn't been real active today. Didn't even want a cheetos."

"Yeah, he's never been the most hyperactive lemming," Mac agreed. "Sure is cute, though."

"He's really cute, I'm sorry I can't keep him though. When my kitty grows there is no telling what could happen," Annette said, looking over at her kitty that was curled in a little ball on Cally's bed.

Mac followed her glance. "Oh, also adorable," she said. "I didn't realise you had a kitten."

"She was a gift, and anonymous one at that but I know who she came from," she said, smiling.

[imac_kenzie]

"Pretty good as far as anonymous gifts go," Mac said. The fact the last anonymous gifts she got were from Cally, is a thought she's really kind of trying to quash at the moment.

Distraction was key.

"He or she got a name?" she asked.

Annette agreed, "I know. Really sweet especially since she is my first pet ever. Oh, her name is Angel," which made her smile wide. "Aziraphale gave her to me. I know it."

Mac couldn't help but smile a little at Annette's enthusiasm. "You had her long?"

"Just since before we went to the cabins. Isn't she pretty? I've been kind of learning how to take care of her since I've had her. She's only gotten lost three times."

"Only three..." Mac nodded slowly. "As... y'know, not a cat owner, I don't know how many times people normally lose them," she said making her way over the Poe's cage.

"I have to remember to close my door and stuff all the way," she explained. "I don't know how many times people lose their cat's either, but I see a lot of signs for lost pets." She shook her head. "It's a shame."

Mac nodded. "Least it's a little more difficult for me to lose something with a cage," she said putting a little bag of food on top of the cage.

"You think there's much else?"

Annette reached down by Cally's desk and picked up a small bag with a few essentials for lemming's and handed it to Mac, "Can you get all that? Or want me to help make a quick trip to your room?"

"I think if we put that on top, I can probably manage," Mac said as she did just that. "But, thanks for the offer."

"You're welcome, Mac," Annette said, smiling a little.
